About Avinash Rachmale

Avinash Rachmale is the founder and CEO of Lakeshore Engineering Services, Inc., an engineering firm headquartered in the former Department of Labor building in downtown Detroit. Under the direction of Avinash Rachmale, the company offers a complete range of environmental and construction services to a varied clientele, in both the public and private sector.

Mr. Rachmale attended an engineering college in Aurangbad, India before pursuing a MS in environmental engineering from Wayne State University in Michigan. After working for several years, he opened Lakeshore Engineering, Inc.

With a belief in leading by example, Mr. Rachmale has grown the business to be well respected in the industry, and in 2009, he was recognized by President Obama as the recipient of the Entrepreneurial Success Award from the US Small Business Administration. His other honors include receiving Wayne State University's Distinguished Engineering Alumni Achievement Award and induction into the university’s Engineering School Hall of Fame.

Involved in several professional organizations, Avinash Rachmale serves as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers as well as the National Society of Professional Engineers. When he has time to unwind, he enjoys golfing at the Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Hills.
